The rudis was the wooden sword presented to a gladiator upon earning freedom — the only piece of merchandise in the arena worth having. This tour shirt commemorates a season in which every performer was extremely motivated to headline the final show.
The registrar notes the artist's spelling of 'CROSSRROAD' on this piece. Whether printer's error or period-authentic detail, the Archive has elected to preserve it as found.
