Cerberus

Underdog
Era
Mythic antiquity, twelfth labor
Provenance
The gates of the Underworld, reception desk
Medium
Fine-line engraving on tan, chains rendered broken
Edition
One of one; three of three heads

The hound of Hades is depicted with its chains snapped and one head winking, a security posture the Underworld's management has declined to address. Of the three heads, one is alert, one is delighted, and one is skeptical, which collectively covers most situations. The title is literal.
